Dear Fashion-Lovers,
Preppy clothing line Tommy Hilfiger is launching a new
East meets West Coast-inspired Surf Shack capsule collection.
The colorful mix of swimwear, dresses, shorts, blazers,
and accessories will be available on May 15.
And to celebrate its capsule collection Tommy Hilfiger has created six far-out limited edition surfboards in collaboration with the Art Production Fund, a nonprofit
that supports public art projects.
In collaboration with APF, Hilfiger invited five artists
of varying talent, Scott Campbell, Raymond Pettibon, Richard Phillips, LolaMontes Schnabel, and Gary Simmons to custom-create surfboard designs for the
brand. The outcome is unique to the all-American brand, completely inspiring,
and slightly edgy.
I love the mix of California-carefree-surf culture with
a dash of preppy flair. The capsule collection including the limited-edition
surf boards will be available for purchase in select Tommy Hilfiger stores on
May 15.
